Today we are delighted to announce that the Tirohana Estate Pinot Noir 2006 is going from strength to strength, having picked-up a five star recommendation by
Cuisine magazine and entry into the Top Ten NZ Pinot Noirs (Cuisine magazine, Issue 125, November 2007).

The NZ Pinot Noir Tasting results are based upon the following categorisation:-
5 stars - outstanding
4 stars - very good to excellent
3 stars - good

Judges were:-
John Belsham - international wine judge and winemaker-owner of Foxes Island Wines in Marlborough.
Steve Smith MW - managing director of Craggy Range, Hawkes Bay and chief judge of the Air New Zealand Wine Awards.
Sarah-Kate Dineen - international judge and co-winemaker at Maude Wines, Wanaka.
Associate Judge - Jane Boyle - trading and production manager for Cardmember Wines, Auckland.
