The warmer weather has arrived and to celebrate Summer and all of its bounty, Tirohana Cellars has a Summer Menu for lunch and dinner. Available in the restaurant or on the Terraces (weather dependent), the menu celebrates all that is local and seasonal with plenty of choice for every palate. Bookings are always recommended for lunch (we do get booked early and host many cruise ship tours through the summer season) and essential for dinner, and it is suggested that you book early (06 306 9933) to avoid disappointment for weekends in particular. Group bookings are welcome and special menus can be tailored to suit the occasion.

PITA AND MEGAN ALATINI
The wonderful Megan and Pita Alatini made a visit to Tirohana Estate amidst a busy visit to New Zealand. A delightful couple and a pleasure to see them at the Vineyard.
If you're visiting the Wairarapa - by popular demand, Tirohana has introduced a traditional Sunday breakfast and brunch option, which is served from 10am in the restaurant or, weather permitting, on the terraces overlooking the picturesque vineyard. Don't worry about it being too early to sample wines as we will be serving a range of traditional and exotic teas as well as espresso coffees and fresh juices to accompany our breakfast and brunch menu, leading into lunch. Our Leslie 2010 Pinot Noir and extra special heritage 2010 Pinot Noir from our oldest vines are now available. So next time you visit the Cellar Door make sure you ask for a tasting as the vintage is excellent and has produced a unique Pinot Noir variety.
