This is the fourth year in a row (having received the Hallmark of Excellence also in 2009, 2010 and 2011). The distinction recognizes quality in preparation and presentation and the judges and assessors said, "Your dish, texel Lamb shank, with feta and mint salsa, smashed minted peas, baby gourmet potatoes, and wine jus was highly praised by assessors for the trimmed, lean and flavoursome lamb, perfectly cooked and meltingly tender. This dish was beautifully presented and very well considered, with outstanding flavour pathways. A superb dish and a credit to the kitchen. Congratulations."
