A sample of the current Dinner Menu at Tirohana Estate’s Restaurant in Martinborough is below. Since our menu is seasonal, it changes regularly and throughout the year, reflecting the latest seasonal food and produce. Dinner includes an optional complimentary shuttle pick-up service to Tirohana Estate (and back) to clients staying in and around Martinborough.

  • Cream of Tomato Soup served with Ciabatta (GF available – Vegan)
  • Rustic Chicken and Pork Paté, Pinot Noir wine jelly, ciabatta &
  • Beetroot and Red Onion Tarte Tatin served with candied walnut crumble and aioli (Vegan)
  • Baked tomato stuffed with Mozzarella served with tomato emulsion, basil oil and micro greens (GF, Vegan)
  • Smoked Salmon Mousse on crostini, pickled radish (GF)
  • Twice Baked Cheese Souffle, tomato chilli jam and Lavash cracker

MAIN COURSE – served with seasonal vegetable medley

  • Roasted Beef Sirloin served with Red Wine Jus and Truffle & Whiskey Butter  (GF – DF available)
  • Shank of Lamb served on a rich mashed potato with salsa verde (GF. DF available)
  • Twice Cooked Pork Belly with carrot, ginger and orange Puree (GF – DF)
  • Fish of the Day baked in paper with red onion, lemon, tarragon and butter (GF available)
  • Spring Pea fritters with lemon  
  • Eggplant Parmigiana served with a rich Tomato & Oregano Sauce & Basil Olive Oil (Vegan – GF)

DESSERT 

  • Signature Spiced Pumpkin Bread & Butter Pudding served with Caramel Sauce & Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Torte served with mint chocolate ice cream (GF)
  • Traditional Bakewell Tart with custard glaze and Chantilly cream
  • Lemon Meringue Frozen Mousse served with Berry Compote (GF)
  • Vegan Coconut Panna Cotta served mango coulis (Vegan, GF)

All of our ingredients are sourced locally and seasonally with emphasis on organic, free range and sustainable produce

All chutneys, sauces and soups are made onsite
