The Cellar Door is generally open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 – 16:30. Closed 23/24/25/26 December, Good Friday and Anzac Day morning and with reduced hours over the festive season or harvest/pruning seasons as the team work in the vineyard. It is always advisable to phone ahead as the Cellar Door and restaurant do get very busy (and indeed sometimes close for private bookings) with tour groups, etc.
The unique Emporium offers an excellent tasting room to sample Tirohana’s range of award-winning premium wines. The Emporium also stocks artisan Estate made produce from confectionery to gourmet chutneys and preserves along with a range of gifts. Tours and wine talks can be pre-arranged.
Outside you’ll never struggle to find a place to kick back and relax to enjoy the stunning views together with a gourmet platter, elegant High Tea or al fresco lunch which is served on our terraces (weather dependent) from Tirohana’s acclaimed restaurant – please contact the team to organise your catering requirements (or send us a message on the Tirohana Facebook page).
So whether or not you are visiting the Cellar Door or looking for a break – there is nowhere better to slow down to the speed of life and enjoy the extra special ambience and views Mother Nature has to offer – encapsulated within the beauty of Tirohana Estate where you will always be assured our a very warm welcome and a memorable visit.
