A sample of the current Dinner Menu at Tirohana Estate’s Restaurant in Martinborough is below. Since our menu is seasonal, it changes regularly and throughout the year, reflecting the latest seasonal food and produce. Dinner includes an optional complimentary shuttle pick-up service to Tirohana Estate (and back) to clients staying in and around Martinborough.

  • With Sauvignon Squeeze and Amuse Bouche

ENTREE

  • Spiced Carrot and Lentil Soup with Estate bread (V, Vegan) (GF bread available)
  • Pear, blue cheese and walnut tart on Mesclun with balsamic créme (V/Vegan available)
  • Crumbed Scallops on a corn puree with micro greens
  • Cracked Pepper and Port Paté with toasted Estate bread and Pinot Noir wine jelly (GF bread available)
  • Tempura Battered Courgette and Feta Fritters with lime and coriander sour cream (V, Vegan)

Main Course
all served with seasonal vegetables

  • Lamb Rump served pink with wine jus and mint jelly (GF)
  • Sirloin of Beef cooked medium rare with creamy pepper sauce (GF)
  • Fish of the Day en papilotte with lemon zest (GF)
  • Five Spice Pork Belly with wine jus (GF)
  • Eggplant Parmigiana with seasonal vegetables (GF, Vegan)
  • Sri Lankan Vegetable curry with dhal on basmati rice with roti bread (Vegan)

Dessert

  • Signature Spiced Pumpkin Bread and Butter Pudding, caramel sauce, vanilla bean ice cream (V) (GF available)
  • Pana cotta with winter spiced berry coulis, mandarin crush (GF)
  • White Chocolate Unbaked Cheesecake, cherry and pear compote, whipped cream
  • Mango Custard Tart served cold with cream (V)
  • Coconut and Lemon Pudding with mixed berry compote (GF, Vegan)

All chutneys, sauces and soups are made onsite
