A Welcome video to Tirohana Estate in Martinborough
There is always so much to see and do at Tirohana Estate vineyard in Martinborough. Whether it’s coming over with friends, family or colleagues for a lunch which can be enjoyed outside on our terraces overlooking the vines (as well as inside our restaurant)… Or, celebrating a special occasion over a dinner in our award-winning restaurant. We are open for wine-tasting where you can sample our handmade, boutique wines which are only available from the estate with a tasting by our friendly team in our atmospheric cellar door. And, accommodation is also available for guests wishing to stay the night (bookings essential) so you can wake up, surrounded by the vines and breathtaking scenic views.
We also have many events on during the seasons such as themed Christmas lunch and dinners, functions, a New Year’s Eve gala dinner with bagpipes, dancing and live entertainment. And we serve traditional high tea which can be enjoyed from morning to late afternoon.

A commemorative video of the 13 Rows Chardonnay re-plant.
In October 2023, the ’13 rows’ block of Chardonnay at Tirohana Estate was replanted with ‘baby’ vines replacing their predecessors who had been planted in the 1980s. We look forward to their first vintage and to the vines following in the footsteps of the vines who had gone before over many vintages past. Here is a commemorative video of the re-plant which captures the moment and history in the making.
