The longer it is in the glass some fresh-baked brioche and jasmine appears. Its lively and juvenile acidity gives us a hug from last summer. With late 2015/early 2016 gracing the vines with plenty of sunshine, this Beaujoulais inspired red (made from our Pinot Noir and not from Gamay) captures summer in a bottle. Zesty, exuberant and un-oaked, Panache is meant to be drunk young (some like to drink it slightly chilled) and fills the nose and palate with fresh berries. Like the character Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, this wine is proud, arrogant and full of panache – but is young like a child (enfant) and is best enjoyed whilst still young.
