A sample of the current Dinner Menu at Tirohana Estate’s Restaurant in Martinborough is below. Since our menu is seasonal, it changes regularly and throughout the year, reflecting the latest seasonal food and produce. Dinner includes an optional complimentary shuttle pick-up service to Tirohana Estate (and back) to clients staying in and around Martinborough.

ENTREE

  • Spiced carrot and lentil soup, Estate bread  (Vegan, GF available)
  • Crumbed scallops on puréed sweetcorn with micro greens 
  • Courgette Fritters with Lime and cardamom soured cream (Vegan)
  • Pear, blue cheese and walnut tart  
  • Cracked Pepper Paté, Pinot Noir wine jelly, toasted Estate bread  

Main Course
all served with seasonal vegetables

  • Rustic lamb pie, with pomme puree, with baby carrots, broccolini and wine jus
  • Beef short ribs on pomme puree, with baby carrots, broccolini and wine jus (GF)
  • Roasted chicken breast with sage and onion stuffing, on roasted vegetable medley and Velouté sauce (GF)
  • Oven baked Fillet of Salmon on roasted vegetable medley with horseradish creme (GF)
  • Sri Lankan Vegetable curry served with dhal, basmati rice and roti bread (Vegan, GF available)
  • Rustic Vegetarian Pie with pomme purée, baby carrots, broccolini, beetroot purée and wine jus (V)

Dessert

  • Signature Spiced Pumpkin Bread & Butter Pudding ,Caramel Sauce & Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (GF Available)
  • Unbaked white chocolate cheesecake with cherry and pear compote, with whipped cream
  • Panna cotta with raspberry coulis and freeze dried mandarins
  • Chocolate and Amaretti pudding,with chocolate sauce and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • Coconut & Lemon Pudding with mixed berry compote (GF,Vegan)

All of our ingredients are sourced locally and seasonally with emphasis on organic, free range and sustainable produce

All chutneys, sauces and soups are made onsite
