We have a range of Martinborough accommodation packages available, which includes accommodation and dining packages, for both mid-week and weekend stays (check this page for the latest special rates and packages during the year).
Accommodation packages vary according to the number of guests booked (as well as the number of nights) and generally the cost per person descends for more guests in the party.
Important to note though that whatever the size of the group, be it an intimate getaway for 2 people, or a get together for 10, or a special celebration package for 16, unlike other accommodation providers, the entire house remains exclusively yours.
We also offer special packages for weddings (the house is ideal for a private bridal party) and can host corporate groups and conferences throughout each season.
There are different dining options with the packages which include dinner (or lunch) at Tirohana’s on-site restaurant, as well as private dining being available.

The packages represent great value and considering a per person price includes dinner (or lunch) and wine tasting then with the accommodation rate, the total price can be less than even a comparable conventional hotel room stay. So it’s well worth trying to book early to avoid disappointment given that from our past experience, the Tirohana Colonial House very quickly gets booked out in advance regularly.
We are also able to tailor-make personal accommodation packages for any client wishing to celebrate an extra special event, such as private dining with your own personal chef, to even adopting a vine.
The house can accommodate up to 16 clients. So if you can get a group together (such as a girls’ night in or group of friends/family or corporate getaway), then you might wish to take advantage of our new ‘Girls Night In or Summer Celebration Package’ (please see below for further details).
Girls Night In or Summer Celebration Package
Based upon a minimum of 6 guests up to a maximum of 16 guests, for a cost of NZD $195 inclusive per person, this package offers fantastic value and includes:
– 1 Night Accommodation (2 Night stays are also available, please see details below).
– Dinner for each guest (normally $69pp, excluding beverages) on one night of the stay in our award-winning on-site vineyard restaurant
– A welcome bottle of wine for the group (from your choice of Rose, Pinot Noir ‘Blush’ or Bubbles equivalent)
– A Wine Talk and Tasting in our atmospheric back tasting room and Cellar Door
– A late checkout (if available subject to bookings)
This package is all inclusive for a cost of $195 per person.
If you wanted to savour extra time on this break away, then for a total cost of NZD $295 per person, this bargain break can be extended to a 2 Night Stay with the addition of an extra night, with an added bonus addition of a shared Tirohana High Tea for the group on either the day of arrival or the day of departure (with a delicious mix of sweet and savoury items such as estate-produced scones served with jams, chutneys).
The Tirohana Weekend Break (available all-year)
This accommodation package represents great value and includes:
– dinner for each guest at Tirohana’s award-winning vineyard restaurant on a Friday evening
– two nights accommodation
– a late checkout on Sunday
– In addition, each guest will receive a wine talk and tasting in our Cellar Door
We can also structure a Saturday/Sunday night stay (checking out on the Monday) with dinner being available on the Sunday evening… or, if it would suit your booking better, the option of enjoying a luncheon instead of dinner for your booking during your stay at our onsite vineyard restaurant).
The package rate varies depending on the number of guests. For instance, since the property is single-booking occupancy then for larger groups (6, 8, 10, 12, 14 guests, etc) the average price per person is less than for smaller groups such as 2 or 4 guests staying, though the package still represents excellent value for a smaller stay of 2 or 4 guests.

Other Packages for a personalised break away
For any client wishing to indulge themselves for longer stays, then we do have seven night packages, whereby you only pay for 6 nights and get the 7th night free, and we can plug in personalised dining arrangements according to your individual preference.
For instance, you might wish to experience two or three nights in the restaurant and have a private barbeque catered for by one of our chefs, or to dine in the dining room at the property (with your meals delivered by Tirohana’s hospitality team). Or experience some of the other fine restaurants on offer in Martinborough. You might even like to arrange cooking yourself, or book one of our team to teach a demonstration or cook alongside. We are very open and flexible to tailor-make our packages for extra staying guests to whatever you might prefer.
We would like to respectfully point out that given Tirohana is a working vineyard, for health and safety reasons, the house is not really suitable for children under the age of 12.
Tirohana Mid-week Special Offer – Stay for 3 nights, pay for 2! (available all-year)
We also have some custom tailored midweek accommodation special offers whereby if you stay in Martinborough at Tirohana more than two nights between Sunday – Thursday then you can get one consecutive night free.
This mid-week special offers:
– Stay for more than 2 nights mid-week (for stays between a Sunday night and Thursday night period) and enjoy a 3rd consecutive night for free during your stay!
– Your choice of an included three-course Lunch or Dinner for each guest (normally $69pp, excluding beverages) to enjoy during your stay. Dinner includes also amuse bouche and petit fours.
– A Wine Talk and Tasting in our atmospheric back tasting room and Cellar Door
– A late checkout (if available subject to bookings)

Wedding Packages and Accommodation
Tirohana is a boutique wedding venue for a tailor-made wedding (and can host up to 150 guests with our onsite Grand Marquee and in-house catering with our award-winning Tirohana vineyard restaurant).
We are also offering the Tirohana House accommodation for special wedding packages (the Colonial House is perfect for the bridal party, friends and relatives).

Corporate breaks away and conference Packages
We are able to accommodate small conferences and functions throughout each season with options for dining for lunch and/or dinner at our onsite vineyard restaurant. We can also offer a special Celebration package which includes private dining in the house itself (or in our atmospheric private dining room in our restaurant) catered by your own Personal Chef for that extra special occasion.
If you are interested in hosting a conference, event or function, not only does the vineyard house accommodate up to 16 guests in self-contained accomodation, the estate is also a venue for hosting up to 140 or more guests in our Grand Marquee (we are also a participant in Toast Martinborough each year and have the capacity to host larger functions on our site, including options for accommodation).
